At present, the children are grouped by age into three classes:

• Class 1: Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS - Nursery & Reception)
• Class 2: Key Stage 1 (Year 1 and Year 2)
• Class 3: Key Stage 2 (Years 3, 4, 5 and 6) 

Children in Classes 1 and 2 have a double Porta cabin base with purpose-built facilities for young children. Children in the EYFS have daily access to a large outdoor area, with a built-in sand-pit, various ride-on toys and lots of other exciting equipment to cater for all the areas of learning. Children in Class 2 also use this area at times during the week.

We make the most of having mixed-aged classes, encouraging the older children to act as role models for the younger ones. We have a large hall and two playgrounds, which are well used for a range of activities, including weekly music and PE/sports sessions run by outside coaches.

There is also a garden with a large, grassed area, a covered teaching space, raised planting beds and a wildlife area.

Each classroom has an interactive white board, enabling the children to use ICT regularly across the curriculum.  This is supported by laptops in each classroom.  All classrooms and spaces within school are decorated in neutral colours, contributing to a calming working environment.
